The Boys and Girls Club of Gilmer County will be offering the following classes in the month of April. These how tos will be held at the Gilmer County Civic Center in Ellijay, Georgia.

April 19, 2011 – Money Smart Class – This class offers ways to save money, the importance of a checking account, ways to keep track of your spending and more. The class is from 9 AM to 12 Noon.

April 26, 2011 – Nutrition How To – This class teaches how to prepare grocery lists, eat nutritious meals on a budget, portion control, and even more. This class is from 9 AM to 12 Noon.

Bring the family out to the parking lot of Gold’s Gym in Ellijay, Georgia for the Spring Fling on Saturday, April 2, 2011. You can cheer your favorite teams on in the 5K race that starts at 9 AM and the Tot Trot that starts at 10:30 AM. There will be many fun things going on during the day including an auto show, pony rides, music, games and plenty of food. This event is a fundraiser being brought to you by Gold’s Gym and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
